You’re invited to the annual Open House!
Live music, activities, and of course a traditional salmon barbecue.
Collections Tours, 11am | 12pm | 2pm | 3pm
Usually closed to the public, Open House is an opportunity to visit the collections areas beneath the Museum. What happens to an object once it is donated? Come and find out. Sign up for a free tour on site, spaces limited.
Accessibility note: collections areas are accessed by stairs.
Triangle Island Lighthouse and Moss Cottage, open for visits
How many times have you passed the lighthouse and that little white cottage with green trim and wondered what is inside? Open House is your chance.
Salmon BBQ, 12pm
Slow-grilled over an alder fire, the salmon bbq is a favourite tradition. The full meal is accompanied by potato salad, bun and dessert with strawberries from historic Woodside Farm. Hamburgers, hotdogs also available.
