Community Engagement Support
The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is conducting a survey and coordinating events to gather input from residents and visitors from East Sooke to Port Renfrew to reflect the needs, values, and stories of the region and create a shared vision for the future. We are seeking an individual to provide public engagement support for the survey and engagement events and communications services.

2025 Workshops
The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is seeking an individual, or group, to offer workshops at the museum with instruction on creating and/or repairing, upcycling, embellishing textiles and garments.

If you are interested in proposing a workshop and/or a series of workshops, please include the following:

– images to give an idea of what participants will do/create/learn
– information about the instructor(s)
– materials and/or equipment required
– participants: workshop capacity, age, skills/experience
– time: workshop duration, number of sessions. Note: we prefer weekend or evening workshops for maximum accessibility.
– cost: instructor fees, materials/supplies cost
– facility requirements (water, access to outside, tables, etc.)
